Wholegrain rice undergoes minimal processing: in fact, only the outer part of the grain, called the hull, is removed. All its do-good properties, the fibres, vitamins, minerals, essential fats, iron and phosphorus, are therefore preserved. As wholegrain rice is pretty much as mother nature intended, it’s a good idea to store it in a cool place (even in the fridge). Cook yourself up a nice little risotto and lunch is served.
