Nutritional

Originating from volcanic landscapes, Pedina lentils are a fine lentil variety that hold their shape extraordinarily well when cooked. And not only do Pedina lentils do you good with their nutritional properties, they help you do good to other people too. Through Pedina Lentils, Pedon supports Banco Alimentare, the Italian food bank, which has been collecting and distributing surplus food to the people who need it most for 30 years. Pedon contributes to help families in need with the donation of more than 55.000 servings of pulses and grains, but also with a contribution to cover the cost for the distribution of 125.000 meals in all national territory.
Pedina Lentils don’t just consider people, they consider the environment too. That’s why the packaging is made from pulses. Basically, we recover the vegetal waste usually discarded during the production process and use it to make the paper. The transparent window is made from maize too, meaning that the packaging is 100% recyclable.
